Domariaganj is a town in North East part of Uttar Pradesh, India. In its north just after 30 kilo meters, Nepal is there. Town is located at the bank of river Rapti.
Domariaganj Lok Sabha constituency (Hindi: डुमरिया गंज लोक सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र) is one of the 80 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Uttar Pradesh state in northern India. This constituency covers the entire Siddharth Nagar district.
Domariaganj has historical past. Accrodiing to some historians, The legendary Novelist and Writer Munshi Prem Chandra was working as teacher in old Modern school(now converted into Girls College) for very sort span. Two famous religous ploaces Bharat Bhari and Hallaur are also just few miles away from town. Lumbini(Kapilvastu) the birthplace of Gautam Buddha is 80 miles away from town.
Domariaganj is role model place for religious harmony and brotherhood. People from all different communities live happily together and celebrate all festivals together.
Domariaganj also witnessed 1957 mutiny, there are grave yards of two Bombay Army officers who were killed by freedom fighters.
